The demand for people with photovoltaic skills is expected to be excellent. Sierra College developed the Energy Technology program with industry partners to assure that students would learn many of the skills expected by those currently working in the field.

Graduates will work in construction, the photovoltaic industry and electrical utilities.

Salary ranges:

Solar photovoltaic technician $31,200 to $52,000

Sales Representatives $35,400 to $70,000

Solar Designers $50,000 to $79,100

Solar Installation Managers $52,000 to $70,000
